How to play Fill the Cup
- Drag to draw lines on the lab bench. Lines are solid and stay put; the liquid slides along them.
- Press Pour (Space) to open the tap. Lines lock while it pours, so plan the whole route first.
- Fill every cup to the dashed line to clear the level. Undo removes your last line before you pour.
- Earn a star for filling, one for using ink under the star mark on the ink bar, and one for reaching the brim mark.
- Later worlds add hatched no-ink zones, line caps, moving cups, sliding gates, fans, hot plates and a second liquid. Coloured rims only accept that colour; MIX cups need both.
- Missed? Retry (R) shows your last lines as a faint guide, or Keep lines brings them back to adjust.
About this game
Fill the Cup is a draw-lines physics puzzle set on a dark lab bench. A tap releases a few hundred drops of glowing liquid, simulated one particle at a time, and the only tool you have is ink: every line you draw becomes a solid ramp, wall or funnel that the liquid slides along. Plan the route, press Pour and watch the stream hit your lines, splash, pool and spill into the beaker up to the fill line. Forty handmade levels are grouped into five worlds that each change the rules: Pour teaches slopes and pegs, Limits adds hatched zones that refuse ink, line caps and two cups at once, Motion moves the cups and slides yellow gates through your path, Heat brings fans that blow the stream sideways and hot plates that boil it away, and Mix adds a second liquid, colour-coded cups and MIX cups that need both. Three stars per level reward filling, saving ink and topping the cup to the brim, and they open new worlds and liquids such as Acid, Magma, Plasma, Mercury and Gold. A Daily pour remixes a layout for everyone on the same day with a tight ink budget, and a reload brings back the level you were on with your lines in place.

Questions
Is Fill the Cup free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser, with nothing to download and no sign-up. Your stars and unlocks are saved in this browser.
Can I play it on a phone or tablet?
Yes. Draw with your finger and use the large Pour, Undo and Retry buttons; it works upright or sideways on phones and tablets, and there is a left-handed layout in the pause menu.
How do the three stars work?
Filling every cup to the dashed line clears the level and earns the first star. Keep your ink at or under the star mark on the ink bar for the second, and fill each cup up to the dotted brim mark for the third.
What is the Daily pour?
Each day everyone gets the same remixed layout with a tight ink budget. Clear it on three days in a row to unlock the Gold liquid.
