How to play Doodle Dash

1. Pick a car, draw a decal on it and choose a paint colour.
2. Your car speeds up on its own. Steer with the arrow keys, or on a phone or tablet with the ◀ ▶ buttons bottom left (or by holding either side of the road).
3. Pass cars as close as you dare: each near miss raises your multiplier and fills your nitro.
4. Hold Space or the Nitro button to boost, ↓ or the Brake button to slow down. Hitting a car costs speed and resets your multiplier.
5. Reach each checkpoint before the clock runs out to gain time and enter a new zone with more traffic.

About this game

Doodle Dash is an arcade racing game built around one idea: the closer you pass, the faster you go. Every near miss adds to your score multiplier and charges your nitro, and every crash takes both away. The clock keeps the pressure on: you start with 40 seconds and buy more at each checkpoint, while the highway moves from Neon City through the Sunset Desert and the Coast Line into Storm Pass with more traffic each time. Before you race you draw your own decal on your car, and higher best scores unlock the Muscle and Hyper cars and new paint. Reload by accident and your run comes back paused.

Controls

On a phone or tablet: Play sideways. Steer with the ◀ ▶ buttons bottom left (or hold either side of the road), hold Nitro and Brake bottom right, and pause with the button top left. The buttons follow how you play: on a touch laptop they appear at your first tap and hide when you press a key. On-screen controls (Auto, Always, Off) and Left-handed are in the pause menu and in Controls.
