How to play Doodle Drop

1. Aim the shape hanging over the jar and drop it. The dashed guide shows where it will land, and the Next box shows what comes after.
2. When two of the same shape touch, they merge into the next one up the chain: Dot, Tri, Square, Penta, Hexa, Ring, Star, Gear, Bloom, Planet, Nova.
3. Every merge scores, and bigger shapes score more. Merges within 0.6 seconds of each other build a chain worth up to three times the points.
4. Keep the pile under the line near the top. If any shape stays over it for 3 seconds, the run ends; the line turns red and counts down first.
5. Classic adds a rule every level: pebbles that never merge, a shot clock, a lower line. Every 4,000 points earns a Scribble that erases one shape.
6. Play the Daily for one 3-minute run with the same drops as everyone, or clear the 18 goals for up to three stars each.

About this game

Doodle Drop is a merge drop puzzle with real physics and a sticker-press look. Shapes fall into a jar, roll, wedge and stack: circles roll into gaps, squares sit flat and triangles jam, so where you drop matters as much as what you drop. Two of the same shape that touch merge into the next of eleven, from a small Dot to a Nova that fills half the jar, and the new shape can land on its own twin for a chain. Classic is endless and adds a new rule at each of nine levels, from pebbles that only break when you merge beside them to a shot clock and a lower line. The Daily gives everyone the same drops and one twist for a 3-minute run, with a week of scores on the menu. Goals has 18 set challenges in three sets, such as making a Ring in a narrow jar or chaining four merges, each with up to three stars for using fewer drops. Higher scores and a first Bloom unlock the Neon, Blueprint and Riso Ink skins, and a reload brings your jar back paused.

Controls

On a phone or tablet: Drag across the jar to aim and lift your finger to drop. The arrow buttons nudge your aim, the big Drop button drops, Scribble erases a shape and the pause button sits top left. Left-handed mode in the pause menu swaps the sides.
