Lane Rush 3D

How to play Lane Rush 3D

  1. Press Run. Your board speeds up on its own: switch between the three lanes to dodge blocks, jump the low hurdles and slide under the hanging bars.
  2. Dodge late on purpose: switching away, jumping or sliding in the last moment before a hit is a close call. Close calls chain into Rush (up to x5) and fill the Surge meter.
  3. When Surge is full, fire it: for a few seconds you are unstoppable, smash through anything in your way and fly over gaps.
  4. From the Green sector on, take a ramp onto a train roof to ride above the traffic. Changing lanes into the side of a train bounces you back; two bumps in three seconds end the run.
  5. Every 1,000 m the sector changes colour and adds a new kind of obstacle: movers in Amber, gaps and trains in Green, long gaps and double walls in Blue, everything closer together in Violet and Prism.
  6. Finish all three missions to rank up: your rank is your score multiplier. Spend shards on longer power-ups, and unlock new boards and trails.

About this game

Lane Rush 3D is an endless lane runner on a black-glass highway hanging in deep space. Three lanes glow in the colour of the sector you are in, and every 1,000 m the colour changes and the road adds something new: blocks, hurdles and bars in Red, movers that slide into your lane in Amber, gaps and trains you can ride on in Green, long gaps and double walls in Blue, then everything closer together in Violet and Prism. The speed climbs from 14 to 34 m/s over the first 5,000 m. The skill is timing: dodge in the last third of a second for a close call, chain them into Rush for bigger points, and fill the Surge meter to smash straight through for a few seconds. Shards buy longer Magnet, Shield, Double and Surge, three missions at a time raise your rank and your score multiplier, and longer runs unlock new boards and trails. Draw your own neon graphic on the board in the hangar, and play the Daily run: the same road for everyone that day.

Questions

Is Lane Rush 3D free?

Yes. It runs in your browser for free, with nothing to download and no sign-up.

What is a close call?

Dodging an obstacle at the last moment: switching lanes, jumping or sliding when it is less than about a third of a second away. Each close call scores points times your Rush combo (up to x5) and fills a fifth of the Surge meter.

How do I get a higher score?

Your rank is your score multiplier, so finish missions to rank up. Within a run, chain close calls for Rush, collect full shard lines and use Surge to smash obstacles for extra points.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Every move has a button: ◀ ▶ to switch lanes, Jump, Slide and Surge, and swipes work too. Play it upright or sideways. A run you leave by accident comes back paused when you return.

Is every road beatable?

Yes. The road is built from short hand-made pieces, and each one is checked by a test bot that reacts a little late, at the top speed and from every lane, so there is always a way through.

What is the Daily run?

One road for everyone each day, built from the date. Your best Daily score is kept for that day.
