Cub Stickers privacy policy

This policy covers the Cub Stickers app for iPhone and iPad, with a sticker app for Messages (on the App Store as “Cub Stickers: Animated Bear”).

Who we are

Cub Stickers is made by DOODLECUB (“we”) under the Doodle Cub name. Contact: [email protected].

What the app collects and uses

Cub Stickers works offline, without an account, and has no analytics and no ads. All stickers are built into the app, and nothing you make or send is seen by us.

  • Messages: when you send a sticker, Apple’s Messages app delivers it like any other message, under Apple’s privacy policy.
  • Create your sticker: you pick a photo with the iOS photo picker, so the app sees only the photo you choose. Faces are found on the device, and only the finished sticker image and its settings are saved; the original photo is not kept or uploaded.
  • Shared with other Doodle Cub apps on this device: Your own stickers are saved in a folder shared with the app’s Messages extension and with other Doodle Cub apps from us, so they appear under “Mine” in Messages. Apple keeps this shared folder on the device; it is not uploaded.
  • “Copy”, “Share as GIF” and Deco Studio’s print and share use the iOS clipboard, share sheet and AirPrint; what you share then follows the policy of the app or printer you send it to.
  • Apple In-App Purchase: for sticker packs and Cub Stickers Full (all packs and Deco Studio). Apple handles payment; we never see your card details or your Apple ID.
  • Photos: “Save to Photos” adds the sticker you picked to your library as a GIF. iOS asks for permission first, and the app can only add to your library, not read it.

Children

Cub Stickers is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn off Photos access in the device’s Settings app at any time.
  • Delete the app to remove what it saved on the device.
  • We never sell personal information.
  • Ask us to access or delete information about you by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
