Creative Quests
In most drawing apps a picture is finished when the child puts the pen down. In Creative Quests it is only the start: the boat a child draws sails, the path they draw lights up the night, and every page they color brings part of a kingdom back to life.
- 3 drawing adventures
- 174 stages
- A free first region in each
- iPhone and iPad
- In 12 languages
Adventure 1
Doodle Island
Draw what the islanders need, and they move in.
An empty island is waiting. The islanders need homes, boats and bridges, and the child draws every one of them. A drawn boat really sails Crab across the sea, and each drawing stays on the island map as a landmark, so the island slowly becomes the child's own.
- Draw a boat, a plane or a balloon, press Sail, Fly or Float, and the drawing itself moves
- Gentle goals for extra stars, such as finishing the picture, using three colors or drawing it big
- 12 brushes, from crayon and watercolor to glitter, chalk, neon and bubbles
The map: Beach · Jungle · Volcano · Snow Peak · Sky Town · Coral Cave
- 6 regions
- 54 stages
- The Beach is free
Adventure 2
Glow Trails
Draw a glowing path, and Lumi the firefly follows it.
The night lanterns have gone out. The child draws a path of light and Lumi the firefly flies along it, lighting each lantern on the way. In Mirror Magic stages the child draws one half and the mirrors draw the rest, turning a few lines into glowing butterflies, flowers and stars.
- Light Path: one glowing line that Lumi flies, end to end
- Mirror Magic: 1 to 8 mirrors turn a few strokes into kaleidoscope art
- Trace stages wake a sleeping creature for the Glow Zoo
- Each world ends with a boss stage: a Light Path, then a Mirror Magic piece
The map: Firefly Forest · Moon Lake · Crystal Cave · Neon City · Aurora Peaks · Nebula
- 6 worlds
- 60 stages
- 30 glowing creatures
- The first world is free
Adventure 3
Color Kingdom
Color the pages, and the kingdom gets its color back.
The Grey Fog took every color in the kingdom. Each page the child colors restores a place on the map, from a flower garden to a dragon's cave, and brings its villager home. District by district, the grey map turns into the child's own colors.
- Color a page with a brush or a tap-to-fill bucket, and find the hidden objects in it
- Color orders: dress a villager in the colors they ask for
- Mixing Lab: drop two paints in the bowl to make a new color for the palette
The map: Flower Village · Candy Market · Ocean Port · Dragon Mountain · Royal Castle · Rainbow Sky
- 6 districts
- 60 stages
- 40 villagers to bring home
- The first district is free
What every quest has in common
- The drawing does the jobA stage is won by what the child draws, not by tapping the right button. Wobbly lines count.
- The map growsEvery finished stage changes the map: a new landmark, a lit lantern, a district in color.
- Stars, not game overGoals add extra stars. There is no game over, so a child can always finish the picture.
- Every drawing replaysAny picture redraws itself stroke by stroke and can be saved as a video for the family.
